We absolutely loved our stay at New Midtown! The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring all the major attractions in Cairo. We were just a short walk away from the Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square, and the beautiful River Nile. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Mahmoud Bahgat who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we even had a fridge in our room. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. we highly recommend New Midtown for a budget-friendly and enjoyable stay in Cairo.

The facilities at this hostel were fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the shared lounge area. It felt like stepping into a cozy living room and provided a great space to socialize with other guests.
Slippery shower cabin floor.

Great location! Easy access to all the attractions and sights in the area. the breakfast was delicious - definitely a good way to start the day. And the best part was that the rooms were surprisingly quiet, considering how central the hotel is.
I was not happy with the room situation. First, I was given a room without a window, which made me feel trapped.

I had a blast hiking and cycling in the area. The shared lounge was a great place to mingle, and the private parking was just the cherry on top. The terrace and restaurant provided lovely spots to unwind. Plus, the continental breakfast was to die for!
Oh, how I loved the paid airport shuttle service! It was such a joy to spend extra money on transportation.

We loved our stay at this charming hotel located in downtown Cairo. the rooms were spacious and clean, offering great value for money. the view of the nearby church from our balcony was delightful. the staff, especially Mahmoud Bahgat and Mohamed Aymen, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They helped us book Uber rides when our own apps were not working and even accompanied us to ensure we reached our destinations safely. Their exceptional service made our stay memorable. the location was also ideal, with just a 15-minute walk to the Egyptian Museum and a short 10-minute drive to Khan el Khalili.
Felt completely at ease, no reason to complain.
